I think that the Met Ball s going to be the best ever this year. No I won't be on Karl Lagerfeld's arm or in a Valentino gown but I cannot wait to see the pics this year. From red carpets in late April, and early May, I can tell that stars will be pushing the envelope and seeking to achieve the ultra-feminine look.
Last year was all about beading, seuin, sheer panels and texture. Rihanna, Beyonce, Christina Ricci and more kept the trend alive on the carpet. Beyonce killed it in the Pucci gown below. Talk about suffering for fashion. She could barely breathe, move or get up the stairs in the dress. But she was absolutely exquisite.
